YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Paladin Brewing, 6520 Mahoning Ave. in Austintown, will hold its grand opening from noon until 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, owner and brewer John Chandler announced today.
Paladin will offer four beers, an American blond ale Chandler has dubbed Sir Kenneth, an America ale he calls Hunter’s Pale Ale, a traditional American India pale ale called IPA of Revelation, and a “Tavern’s Best” IPA.
Chandler plans to offer eight craft beers at a time. “Four of them will change on a rotating basis,” he said.
Regular hours begin Wednesday, Aug. 26 and Paladin will be open Wednesday through Friday 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays 2 to 10 p.m.
During the open house, visitors can sample what Paladin offers as well as fill growlers and crowlers they can take home. In addition, a barbecue truck will be there to serve food visitors can buy and Chandler says he will have nonalcoholic beverages on hand as well.
“My dream of opening a craft brewery here in Youngstown has been a long time in the making,” Chandler said in a written statement. “We’re thrilled to be able to share the fruits of our labor with the community. We look forward to meeting and sharing a cold Paladin brew with our new friends.”
