VXI Seeks 150 More Workers for Call Center
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — VXI Global Solutions LLC today launched a new campaign that will add 150 jobs to its 20 Federal Place call center downtown.
The call center, which opened in 2009, now employs more than 1,000 workers. Individuals can apply at the VXI call center at 20 W. Federal St., Suite 150, or online. Open interviews will be conducted weekdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Aug. 26.
“We are fortunate to be able to continue to bring new job opportunities to the Mahoning Valley and employ such a valuable and skilled workforce. With this exciting growth we will also be seeking those interested in leadership and support positions. In fact, 90% of our leadership and support positions are promoted from within,” said Pamela Hall, senior human relations manager, in a prepared statement.
Minimum requirements for the new positions, according to the company, include six months of sales and customer care experience and a high school diploma or passing the General Educational Development test. Employee benefits include a Monday through Friday schedule with weekends and most major holidays off, ability to earn up to $11 an hour; medical, dental, vision plans; and 401K.
