CORTLAND, Ohio – Brian Kolenich has been appointed executive director of Ohio Living Lake Vista. Kolenich has been with Ohio Living for nearly 30 years and served as the executive director of Park Vista in Youngstown since 2006.

Kolenich began his career with Ohio Living as the licensed nursing home administrator at Park Vista. “I’m pleased that Brian has chosen to remain a part of the Ohio Living family,” said Daniel J. O’Connor, chief operating officer. “His proven leadership acumen, industry expertise, and attention to quality care with quality of life make him a valuable asset to Ohio Living.”

Kolenich’s leadership has been demonstrated by his long time involvement with the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award Examiners. He worked on the Baldridge Examiners’ first nonprofit case study in 2007, a project named Shared Food. He has built close working relationships in Youngstown with the United Way, Youngstown State University and numerous other community organizations. Kolenich departed Park Vista with the community having earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
