ClarkDietrich Buys Vienna Plant for $10.9 Million
VIENNA Township, Ohio – ClarkDietrich Building Systems LLC is moving its production plant from 1300 Phoenix Road in Warren to 1455 Ridge Road.
The company, which makes cold-formed steel products, purchased the building here from Vienna Commerce LLC for $10, 855,896, according to public records. The building is a 362-649-square-foot industrial facility that had been on the market for some time. The transaction was completed Aug. 18.
ClarkDietrih, based in West Chester, also operates a plant at 1985 North River Road in Howland. That plant is not affected by the relocation of the Warren plant. About 100 employees will move to the plant here and more jobs may be created, according to published accounts.
ClarkDietrich Building Systems describes itself as the largest manufacturer of light gauge steel framing in North America.
The company says it will complete its move to the new plant in early 2017.
ClarkDietrich Building Systems manufactures products for interior framing, interior finishing, exterior framing and floor framing, as well as clips, connectors, metal lath and accessories.
The company was formed in 2011 through the combination of ClarkWestern Building Systems and Dietrich Metal Framing. It operates 12 plants and sales offices in the United States.
