Lordstown Motors Reveals Interior of Endurance
LORDSTOWN, Ohio – Lordstown Motors Corp. has unveiled the interior of its inaugural model, the Endurance pickup truck.
The truck’s exterior design was unveiled June 25 with aid from Vice President Mike Pence. At that event, Lordstown Motors CEO Steve Burns said the inside of the truck would be revealed later.
The design and prototypes of the Endurance are being done in partnership with California-based Hydra Design Labs.
The startup automaker is taking preorders of the electric-powered truck and expects to begin delivery next summer.
Last month, Lordstown Motors said that through preorders and letters on intent, it had surpassed its initial goal of selling 20,000 trucks in 2021. Before tax credits, the Endurance will cost $52,500.
