Area Health-Care Providers Seeking Nurses
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Northside Medical Center and Mercy Health Youngstown are holding job fairs over the next week to recruit health-care workers.
Northside , an affiliate of ValleyCare Health System of Ohio, will hold a career fair for registered nurses tomorrow in Politis Auditorium on the ground floor of Medical Office Building A at the hospital.
Mercy Health Youngstown will host a career fair Oct. 26 to fill immediate openings at its long-term care and assisted-living residences. The hiring event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon in the Azalea Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.
Said Debbie Moyer, chief nursing officer at Northside, “Candidates may attend the career fair to interview with our nurse management team and qualified candidates will be selected that day to join our staff.”
RNs are being hired in all departments and are encouraged to come between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Additional information is available by contacting Northside’s Human Resources department at 330 841 3935.
Mercy Health is recruiting licensed practical nurses and state-tested nurse assistants for full- and part-time positions at Humility House, Austintown, and The Assumption Village and Marian Living Center, North Lima. Both campuses offer rehabilitation, assisted living and nursing home care.
