Rogalski Named President of Sharon Regional Medical Center

SHARON, Pa. – Robert Rogalski has been named the new president of Sharon Regional Medical Center.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the health-care industry, including more than a decade as the CEO of Excela Health in Greensburg, Pa., and leadership roles at both Allegheny General Hospital and UPMC.

“I look forward to the opportunity to lead Sharon Regional Medical Center and its dedicated team of physicians, nurses and support teams,” Rogalski said in a statement. “I understand the importance of what the tradition of a community hospital represents to the Mercer County community and am eager to engage with patients, families, businesses and elected officials to reinforce our commitment to deliver quality health care programs and services.”

Sharon Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed hospital with 19 satellite offices. Accredited by the Joint Commission, Sharon Regional offers heart and vascular care, emergency heart attack and stroke treatment, cancer care, orthopedics and sports medicine, a bariatric center and a breast care center.
