A Look Inside a Medic Supervisor Vehicle | Brain Gain Navigators

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — While it is not an ambulance and cannot transport patients, a supervisor vehicle has all of the same equipment to help save lives in the event of an emergency.

Judy Hartley, assistant EMS chief with Lane LifeTrans and part-time firefighter with Austintown Fire Department, opens up the back of the vehicle to show us what’s inside.

Senior medics are sent in these supervisor vehicles to assist ambulance crews should they need help.

“Sometimes it takes more than just two people to handle a critical patient,” Hartley says.
