Accupoint Software Graduates from YBI Program
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A software company established in 2007 that now serves the global oil and gas market expects to expand its reach, now that it has graduated from the Youngstown Business Incubator’s Digital Incubation Program, the YBI announced today.
Accupoint Software has combined industry best business practices with sophisticated cloud technology to provide innovative business management tools to the industry. The company’s software is designed to streamline the administration and reporting requirements of international quality standards, and draws from a range of customers that include manufacturers, exploration and production companies, distribution firms, and service supply organizations.
“Over the past couple of years, we have seen the oil and gas industry undergo substantial changes in the way it does business,” said Jeff Cianciola, CEO. “Falling crude prices, budget and schedule overruns, climate change concerns, and problems attracting talent have greatly impacted the industry.”
As such, companies across the industry are searching for ways to improve operational performance, Cianciola said. Accupoint was successful in developing solutions that addressed their concerns, he said.
“Accupoint is a great example of a company that faced challenges in the market and found ways to succeed in spite of them,” said Barb Ewing, Youngstown Business Incubator CEO. “When the U.S. manufacturing economy slowed, Jeff successfully pivoted by creating opportunities in the oil and gas industry. YBI is proud to be a part of Jeff’s success and looks forward to seeing his continued growth.”
