Area Agency on Aging 11 to Relocate
NILES, Ohio – Change and growth highlighted 2018 for Area Agency on Aging 11, Inc., including the announcement to move its corporate offices from the Eastwood Mall in Trumbull County to the former ITT Tech building in Austintown.
The agency’s lease will expire May 31. Renovations and construction plans are in the works, and phases of the move will begin sometime in May.
Area Agency on Aging 11 has expanded services, programming and staff and the new building at 1030 N. Meridian Road offers a larger space and the ability to expand technology capabilities to allow for growth.
“More than 25% of our business now deals with people under the age of 60 who have a disability,” says CEO Joe Rossi. “Our expertise in case management and service coordination in long-term care has positioned us to diversify our business lines to secure private contracts.”
Last year, more people were assessed for services and more are receiving services, allowing them to remain living safely in their homes, and the number of agencies providing services increased, Rossi says.
