Aim Counts on Local Talent to Fill 2 Positions

GIRARD, Ohio – Aim Transportation Solutions, a national provider of commercial vehicles and services for more than 50 years, is welcoming two new hires to the accounting department at its corporate headquarters here.

Justin Battisi, Aim’s new assistant controller, was born and raised in Struthers. He graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University in 2010 with a B.S. in accounting. Upon graduation, he completed an internship with Hill Barth & King, where he was employed until 2014.

In 2015, Battisi obtained his CPA license and began work with a Cleveland-based multi-wealth management firm. There he was promoted to director of accounting and financial reporting before leaving for a position as controller of a large property management company.

Aaron Battisi, newly appointed credit manager, is also a local hire, coming to Aim from Newton Falls. He is a 1992 graduate of Ohio University where he earned his B.S. in communication.

Battisi began his career in 1993 as a manager at a consumer lending agency, where he was employed until 2008. He went on to work as a mortgage consultant for Wells Fargo, a credit supervisor at Hoover/Dirt-Devil and, most recently, a credit/collections manager for Olympic Steel.

“We’re grateful to have found these two high-caliber candidates locally in order to continue growing our deep roots in Northeast Ohio, where we’re headquartered,” says Rick Fox, Aim chief financial officer.

Aim Transportation Solutions is the largest privately-owned truck leasing company in North America.
