Aim Turns Challenges into Growth Opportunities

GIRARD – Aim Transportation Solutions grew across nearly all sectors of its business in 2023. Tom Fleming, chairman and CEO, says that momentum will push into 2024 and beyond.

Aim Leasing Co., a division of Aim Transportation Solutions, eclipsed its annual sales goal by 277%, adding 85 new lease customers. “Even though inflation and rising interest rates, caused many businesses to be extra cautious about making large, long-term investments, we continued to see significant increases in revenue and new customers,” says Matt Svancara, chief operating officer.

Another division, Aim Integrated Logistics, saw revenue increase nearly 10%. Led by David Gurska, chief operating officer, the division added nine customers and ranked among the top 25 of Transport Topics’ top dedicated carriers in the nation lists.

“In 2023, we expanded operations with many of our customers, increasing Aim’s footprint into several new regions of the country,” Gurska says.

Last year marked the completion of a $1.7 million renovation of the company’s headquarters in Girard, adding more offices and workspace, enhanced safety and security measures, a clean and inviting aesthetic and more.

Aim also continued to invest in new technologies, including AI-powered dash cameras that aid its drivers in the safe operation of their vehicles.

Newsweek named the company a Top 100 Most Loved Workplace in 2023. Led by Jessica Deane, Aim vice president of marketing, about 1,000 employees were asked to weigh in on how they felt about the company through an anonymous survey. The responses helped to earn the Newsweek recognition.

“As we continue to grow each year, bringing in new customers, expanding our operations and adding more rewarding careers to the Youngstown area, we’re proving that our personalized, family-owned approach to business makes all the difference,” says Scott Fleming, Aim president.

“We look forward to the great things 2024 has in store for our company, our customers and our employees and, as always, we will continue turning challenges into opportunities.”
