Akron Children’s Conducting Crayon Collection Drive
AKRON, Ohio – Akron Children’s Volunteer Services is conducting the Krayons for Kids crayon collection drive for patients from March 17-31.
New crayons can be dropped off at collection boxes at visitor desks at both the Akron and Mahoning Valley hospital campuses. Crayons can also be purchased from the hospital’s Amazon wish lists. Click HERE for the Akron wish list, and HERE for the Mahoning Valley wish list.
“Crayons are a classic arts and crafts tool that our patients make great use of during their hospital stays,” said Vicki Parisi, director of Volunteer Services. “There is also often therapeutic value to the artwork they create.”
