Albco Foundry Adds ISO Certification, Website

LISBON, Ohio — A new ISO certification establishes Albco Foundry & Machine as a consistent supplier of high-quality molded castings to the OEM and aftermarket replacement parts industries, owners said.

Albco received its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification from AMPLUS Global Associates Inc., a nationally recognized independent registrar. Albco is a provider of non-ferrous sand and graphite permanent mold castings. Additionally, the certification shows Albco conforms with the International Quality System Standard.

“Becoming ISO 9001:2015 certified demonstrates our commitment to provide superior products and services that meet the requirements of our customers,” said Joe Staffeld, third-generation owner of Albco Foundry. “As the industry and improvements in machinery and technology advance, it’s critical as an organization to be proactive and remain relevant through ISO 9001 standards.”

The certification puts a greater emphasis on leadership engagement and processes, resulting in continued improvement of casting quality, production efficiency, customer service and on-time delivery while ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

On Tuesday, Albco launched its redesigned website, www.albco.com, which provides visitors with quick and easy access to its alloys and processes information while highlighting the 62-year-old foundry’s value and overall customer benefits.

“The new website offers a better way for our customers to be able to communicate with us and learn about our products and services through an easily navigable site,” said co-owner Dan Kloos. “We are now more connected with customers through our website and social media and can accommodate their needs in today’s digital age.”

Developed by PALO Creative in Boardman, the website features a clean design, improved functionality and enhanced content, including case studies, blogs and additional resources. Customers can request a quote directly from the site.
