Alta Care Group Grows to Meet Demand
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Alta Care Group is a nonprofit behavioral health organization that supports the social, emotional, behavioral, educational and physical well-being of children, adolescents, young adults and their families.
Joe Shorokey, CEO of Alta Care Group, says the need for a larger space was necessary because the demand for their services has nearly doubled over the past decade.
“Since the pandemic, we’ve seen so many more kids with anxiety and depression,” Shorokey says. “That is what is really driving the request for services. This gives us an opportunity to begin serving more people, which we had limited opportunity to do before.”
