Alta Head Start to Host Staff, Family Recruitment Event

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Alta Head Start will host a staff and family recruitment event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Eastwood Mall.

The event will take place at the main entrance next to the food court.

Prospective Head Start families will be able to meet with Alta Head Start family advocates, learn more about Head Start’s services and register from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

A job fair will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Potential candidates will be able to meet with members of Alta’s human resources, education and family and community services teams. Job seekers are encouraged, but not required, to bring resumes. 

With its recent expansion into Trumbull County, Alta is looking for professionals to fill a number of open positions, including infant/toddler teachers, family advocates, lead preschool

teachers, assistant preschool teachers and classroom aides. Open job descriptions can be viewed HERE.

“As we continue to grow our services into Trumbull County, we are looking to connect with more families to share the exciting changes and developments happening at our Head Start locations throughout the county, as well as find the right talent to join our team,” said Joe Shorokey, CEO of Alta Care Group.
