Altfeld’s ‘Speaking Ingeniously’ Class Begins Sept. 19
BOARDMAN, Ohio – In today’s business world, whether you are in sales or another job that requires you to give presentations, public speaking skills are a necessity, says Greg Smith, chairman of Compco Industries in Columbiana.
That’s why Smith, a professional trainer of speakers, is bringing Jonathan Altfeld to the Boardman Holiday Inn next month for a week-long training program called “Speaking Ingeniously for Platform Influence.”
Altfeld operates the Mastery InSight Institute in Tampa, Fla., which specializes in neuro-linguistic programming, a “blend of art and science,” he says, “that influences the mind to use language and communication to obtain better results.” He describes his training programs as designed to “improve leadership and change-management skills.”

During the week-long class, Sept. 19 to 23, attendees will learn how to craft compelling speeches and deliver them in front of others. “Most of my students who come to the sessions with a fear of public speaking – even deep-seated, serious anxiety – find they are no longer afraid early in the first morning of classes,” says Altfeld.
“Jonathan is one of the very best speaker trainers in the country,” says Smith, who has studied with Altfeld. “With Jonathan’s guidance and knowledge, students learn how to persuade others to agree with their point of view and take action when asked. This skill is enormously powerful for anyone in business.”
To maximize the personal attention and coaching Altfeld provides to each student, the “Speaking Ingeniously” session is capped at 15 attendees. For more information and a link to register, visit bit.ly/ohio-speaking.
