America Makes Appoints Steeb, Resnick

America Makes, the additive manufacturing hub based in Youngstown, this week appointed two executives to its leadership team. Alexander Steeb (pictured) is the newly hired operations director and Andrew Resnick is the new director of communications and public affairs. The appointments follow the announcement of a seven-year cooperative agreement between America Makes and the Air Force Research Laboratory that is valued at $322 million of government cost and America Makes cost share. Steeb will be responsible for executing the cooperative agreement in addition to overseeing the daily operations of the institute, says John Wilczynski, executive director of America Makes. Resnick will develop and deploy a long-term communications strategy for the cooperative agreement and “coordinate efforts for a national investment plan by working closely with our Roadmap Advisory Group,” Wilczynski says.
