Marcy Angelo, manager of business development at the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, recently graduated from the Business Leads Fellowship Program conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The program trains and equips chamber leaders with resources, access to experts and a peer network to help address education and workforce challenges. Following a competitive application process, Angelo was among 34 other chamber executives to participate in the three-month program, which covered the talent pipeline from early childhood education, K-12, higher education and workforce development. “There are many efforts across the country that are supporting a solution to today’s workforce challenges. I look forward to taking everything I learned from the connections I made during this fellowship to see how we can create opportunities in the Mahoning Valley,” says Angelo.
