Ankle & Foot Centers Joins Northern Ohio Medical Specialists

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Ankle & Foot Care Centers has joined Northern Ohio Medical Specialists, bringing the podiatry offices’ 20 sites in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys under the purview of the Sandusky-based group.

“Joining NOMS is great news for patients, doctors and staff because it enables us to continue putting patients first,” said Dr. Lawrence DiDomenico, cofounder of Ankle & Foot Care Centers, in a statement. “NOMS has tremendous expertise and a reputation for providing excellent team-based care.”

Northern Ohio Medical Specialists is an independent physician group with more than 250 practices in 43 cities across Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Ankle & Foot Care represents NOMS’ first foray in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys.

The group expects to double or triple in size over the next year, said chief strategic officer Rick Schneider.
