Antone’s Reciprocates Community Support
Chad Scianna, owner of Antone’s Kitchen, chose to partner with the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley because he wants to give back to the community.
“When we have the opportunity to do so, we like to keep it right here in the Valley, for the people who’ve supported us for the past 60 years,” Scianna said in an interview with Roxann Sebest, director of marketing and communications for United Way.
In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Antone’s Kitchen has been donating to the local United Way chapter a percentage of the revenue from each family meal it sells.
United Way opens doors for organizations like Antone’s to volunteer. Among them are Dorothy Day House, Catholic Charities, American Heart Association, Yellow Brick Place, Boys & Girls Club and Potential Development.
