Apostolakis Auto Group Donates $2,000 to Regional Food Banks

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — With Christmas just days away, Apostolakis Auto Group made $2,000 in donations to food banks in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys.

Apostolakis Honda at 3156 Elm Road, Cortland presented a $1,000 check to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. Shenango Honda, located at 3965 E. State St., Hermitage, Pa., presented a $1,000 check to Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.

In addition to monetary donations, the dealerships are collecting nonperishable food items in their service centers through the end of December to donate to the food banks. Thus far, Apostolakis Honda has collected 108 pounds of food, and Shenango Honda has collected 90 pounds.

On hand for the Shenango Honda donation were General Sales Manager Mike Schuller; Jess Briganti, Apostolakis Auto Group marketing director; John Apostolakis, Apostolakis Auto Group president; Becky Page, Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County executive director; Sarah Worthington, Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County program coordinator.
