Apostolakis Auto Group Donates $2K to Area Food Banks

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Apostolakis Auto Group this week donated $2,000 to two food banks in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys.

Apostolakis Honda in Cortland presented a $1,000 check to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, and Shenango Honda in Hermitage, Pa., presented a $1,000 check to Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.

The dealerships are also collecting nonperishable food items in their service centers through the end of December to donate to the food banks. So far, both dealerships have collected more than 100 pounds of food.

“Giving back to the community is what being a local business owner is all about,” said John Apostolakis, president of Apostolakis Auto Group. “I strongly believe in helping those in need in many different capacities, and helping to fight hunger is a mission I deeply support.”
