Employers Pack Youngstown Works Hiring Event
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The grand ballroom of Stambaugh Auditorium was overflowing with human resource and hiring managers representing various industries from all around the Mahoning Valley during a Youngstown Works hiring event Wednesday.
Gerri Jenkins, founder of the organization, says she has at least a dozen employers on a waiting list asking when the next hiring event will be held. She recommends to hiring managers to register early to get their spot for April 2024.
“We’re trying to fulfill a need,” Jenkins says. “Recent statistics say that there are two jobs for every job seeker, and you can find the jobs right here.”
