Armstrong EXP Now Features Voice Remote
BUTLER, Pa. — Armstrong customers can now search for their favorite television shows, movies or channels with their voice. The enhanced EXP User Interface features Voice Remote capability that enables searches by casual voice commands.
“We are very excited about this launch,” said Armstrong President Jeffrey A. Ross. “The enhanced EXP user interface will provide a dramatically improved user experience.”
Pressing the blue microphone button on the new remote provides fast, highly accurate results, channel changes, app launches and navigation of the TiVo-powered user interface. Users can search movie titles, TV shows and actors, and EXP will search across multiple platforms, including live TV, On Demand, DVR and streaming services, said the company’s field marketing manager, Adam Daniels.
“The ability to use voice instead of pushing buttons on the remote control is a game-changer,” said Dan McGahagan, Armstrong general manager. “There’s no doubt that our customers in Boardman will soon enjoy their EXP experience even more.”
The enhanced EXP features a modern look with sleek screens, deeper color schemes, more images and subject-based icons. Other features include a smart bar on the home screen, which offers quick links to the programming you want to watch when you are most likely to watch it, and Sports Ratings, which monitors and rates live and upcoming games on a scale of zero to 100.
