Armstrong EXP Now Includes Alexa Voice Control

BUTLER, Pa. — Armstrong EXP customers can now go hands-free with Amazon Alexa voice control.

Armstrong announced Thursday that it integrated the voice-activated virtual assistant into its EXP platform. With Alexa, customers can control the show they’re watching, launch apps like Hulu, Netflix, or YouTube, and change channels by name or number.

“We’re pleased to announce that EXP works with Alexa,” said Michael L. Giobbi, Armstrong chief technical officer. “Integrating Alexa is another big step we’ve taken towards integrating smart solutions into EXP.”

EXP blends Armstrong’s wireless Zoom and television services with interactive access to a customer’s home entertainment system for a “whole-home solution,” according to a company statement. Learn more at FollowTheWire.com.
