Armstrong Gives Internet Users Extra 500 GB as Schools Go Online

BOARDMAN, Ohio – As more and more education moves online, internet service provider Armstrong is providing all residential users an addition 500 gigabytes of data to their monthly allowance.

The temporary change will allow families to have their children to attend classes from home without significantly impacting their normal internet usage.

“Adding an additional 500 gigabytes per month to the existing allowance levels is a significant increase and should help to put minds at ease,” said Dan McGahagan, general manager for Armstrong’s Boardman system, in a statement.

The average Armstrong residential user’s monthly data consumption is between 300 and 350 gigabytes, the company says.
