Armstrong Hosts Car & Bike Show July 9
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Armstrong and Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley will host the 6th annual Street Scene Car & Custom Bike Show on July 9, at Shepherd Self Storage, 7469 South Ave.
Vehicle registration is from 9 a.m.-noon at $10 per car or bike. The show runs from noon-4 p.m.
Twenty-six first place awards in various car categories and two Grand Champion awards will be handed out at the show. Dash plaques and door prize tickets will be handed out to the first 200 car registrants.
The event will also include iHeartMedia’s Thomas John, concessions by Soltron, a Chinese auction and a 50/50 drawing.
Live programming of the event will be done by Rick Gurrera, host of the Street Scene television series on Armstrong Channel 20/100 and guest host Krysta Sylvester. For eight seasons, Street Scene, produced by Armstrong and hosted by Gurrera, has toured local and regional car and bike shows.
The event is free to attend. Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for Armstrong’s Breaking Bread initiative to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. Anyone who donates will receive a raffle ticket for a chance at one of the sponsored door prizes.
