ARP Funded Tutoring Initiative Aims for Better Education

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Through an ARP funded tutoring initiative, community members within the Youngstown City School District are intervening to help undereducated students gain a better level of education and skills that are essential for them to succeed in life.

Jimma McWilson, co-founder of F.A.M.I.L.Y. Empowerment Student Achievement Institute Inc., says $90,000 in ARP funds will go toward tutors in the community who are willing to help students in and out of the school district gain basic skills through reading and math.
