COLUMBIANA – C. Tucker Cope & Associates completed over 250,000-square-feet of new metal building construction in 2023. The projects included an auto dealership, office addition, crane building, intermodal facility, extrusion plant and warehouse additions.
This year, the design-build contractor will mark 40 years in business. Projects include a flex space and office building, custom paint and auto-body facility, and manufacturing warehouses, says Tucker Cope, president.
It currently has a 500,000-square-foot manufacturing plant underway. Cope & Associates is partnering with an international erector on the project, which will mark the first time two industry-accredited contractors complete a project together, according to Cope.
Over the past year, Cope & Associates’ field employees received training as part of the company’s effort to earn accreditation as a metal building assembler. The company became the first assembler in Ohio to earn the certification.
