Eastern Gateway Gets 3D Printer

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A portion of East Federal Street in downtown Youngstown was closed off Sept. 8 – not for road construction but to accommodate a large boom crane as it hoisted a massive 3D printer into place at Eastern Gateway Community College.

The 3D printer is a Tradesman Series P3-44 made at Juggerbot 3D at the Youngstown Business Incubator.

The printer, made at Juggerbot 3D in Youngstown, will serve as the core of the new Additive Innovation Center. Eastern Gateway expects the center, housed in its building at East Federal and Champion streets, to be completed by the end of the year.
