YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Raymond James Financial Inc. has selected Farmers National Banc Corp., the parent of Farmers National Bank, as one of 26 banks across the country to receive its 2019 Raymond James Community Bankers Cup.
The Bankers Cup is a competitive award among community banks in which Raymond James evaluates the profitability, operational efficiency and balance sheet metrics of every exchange-traded bank in America with assets of between $500 million and $10 billion.
Of the 255 banks nationwide that qualified, only 26 demonstrated the superior financial performance and stability to be named winners, according to an announcement of the award.
“After a record 149 consecutive quarters of profitability, [we] remain committed to continuing that track record of success. To be recognized for a third year in a row with the Community Bankers Cup is an incredible honor,” says Farmers President and CEO Kevin J. Helmick.
