HERMITAGE, Pa. – LindenPointe Development Corp.’s Technology Business Incubator, the eCenter, enters 2022 with the formation of the Pennsylvania Cybersecurity Center. The goal is to become an incubator for cybersecurity startups, according to Jeffrey Meier, executive director of LindenPointe.
The center will provide a holistic approach to cybersecurity pathways for individuals with training and certifications, real-world, hands-on experience, and paid internship and apprenticeship opportunities. It will launch its pilot program in February with students from high schools and colleges.
Workforce and industry partners include West Central Job Partnership, HopeCAT, Mercer County Career and Technical Center, and Penn-Northwest Development Corp.
The PCC is funded in part by a grant from the PAsmart Industry Partnership and additional contributions from the CHIP Foundation, Hudson Construction, and the Margaret Walker Foundation.
