CANFIELD, Ohio – Professional Engine Systems Inc., Canfield, plans to invest in more staff and new equipment this year, says its president, Bill Hendricks.
The company will hire an electrical engineer who will focus on industrial generator sales and electrical drawings for the residential and commercial sectors.
“Residential sales are expected to increase as people become more aware of the importance of emergency backup power,” Hendricks says.
The company plans to add a generator technician. Also on tap are investments in employee training, enhanced safety initiatives and work area reorganization, he says.
Last year, Professional Engine saw a 36% growth in revenue compared to 2022 — a more than 200% improvement since 2020, he says.
In 2023, the company added a parts manager, a generator technician and administrative office staff. And it increased employee benefits.
