CANFIELD – A team of students from Mahoning County Career & Technical Center and Valley STEM + ME2 Academy won an award at a recent global robotics competition.
Two teams, composed of 13 students from MCCTC and Valley STEM, showcased their ingenuity and skill at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas. They competed against 820 teams from across the world.
One team, 7882B, won the Energy Award in its division. The award recognized environmental responsibility and resource efficiency.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performance,” says John Zehentbauer, MCCTC superintendent.
