Athletix Looks to Help Develop Athletes All Year Long

COLUMBIANA, Ohio — Athletix is a nearly 46,000 square-foot multimillion dollar athletic training space featuring a turf field, hardwood court, a TopGolf game simulator, baseball/softball pitching and hitting area, a weight room and a dining area.

Setting itself apart from other indoor sports facilities in the region is not only its size, but its commitment to providing the latest sports training technology to athletes.

“Our target is really athletes of all ages. I think the hottest market is probably the youth sports market right now,” says Sean Wardle, co-owner of Athletix. “We chose the location based on the economic boom that’s going on here in Columbiana County and we’re hoping to draw from western Pennsylvania, Mahoning and Trumbull County as well.”
