Austintown Medical Complex Sold for $3.4M

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A medical building that sold nearly three years ago for $2.1 million has sold again to a buyer for $3.36 million, according to records from the Mahoning County Auditor’s office.

Sun Rise Independence LLC, based in Monclova, Ohio, near Toledo, closed on the property at 139 Javit Court in Austintown Township on Nov. 23, auditor’s data show.

Garv Holdings LLC of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., purchased the building from Javit Court Associates on Jan. 20, 2020 for $2.1 million.

The building and 1.76 acres today is appraised at $2.150 million for tax purposes, according to auditor’s records.

Sun Rise LLC is an entity first formed in 2017, according to records from the Ohio Secretary of State’s office and lists Gene Abercrombie as its representative. There is no additional information about the company.

The Javit Court building houses Fresenius Kidney Care, a division of Fresenius Medical Care of North America.  Fresenius Kidney Care operates more than 2,400 dialysis centers across the country.

Of that number, six are located in Mahoning County, two in Trumbull County and one in Columbiana County.  The division operates one center apiece in Mercer County and Lawrence County in Pennsylvania.
