WARREN, Ohio – Avalon Holdings Corp., parent of the Avalon Resorts and Clubs Inc. and a provider of waste management services, Friday reported a net loss of $400,000, or 10 cents per common share, for the last quarter of 2016 and a full-year net loss of $100,000, or two cents a share.
This compares to a fourth-quarter 2015 net loss of $13.9 million, or five cents a share, and a full-year net loss in 2015 of $700,000, or 19 cents a share.
Avalon reported fourth-quarter net operating revenues of $15.6 million, compared to $13.9 million the same period in 2015.
For the full year, the company reported $61.4 million in revenues compared to revenues of $53.1 million in 2015.
Avalon provided no other information in its earnings release to identify how well or poorly its waste management and resorts sectors performed.
