Bachelor to Be Honored by YSU’s Beeghly College
Jeremy Batchelor, assistant superintendent of Austintown Local Schools, will be awarded the Outstanding Administrator Award May 3 at the alumni awards dinner hosted by the Beeghly College of Education at Youngstown State University. The award is presented to an educator who has achieved significant career success in the administrative profession. Batchelor was nominated for this award by his doctorate professor, Charles Vergon. He assisted a grant-writing team in order to develop a new Master’s + Principal Program to meet the changing demands faced by building level leaders. YSU received the grant from the Ohio Department of Education, and Batchelor will serve as a consultant on the project.
