Ballet Western Reserve to Present ‘The Nutcracker’
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Ballet Western Reserve will present the holiday classic “The Nutcracker” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Powers Auditorium.
BWR’s production includes a cast of over 100 students and, for the third consecutive year, live music by the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra.
“The Nutcracker” is the timeless tale of young Clara and the toy soldiers, Mouse Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy who fill her dreams.
Fredrick Davis, a professional dancer, will join the cast in the role of the Cavalier.
Danielle Perrotta is the artistic and executive director of BWR.
