Bets, Winnings Up at Hollywood Gaming Racino
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Revenues and winnings from video lottery terminals continued their rise at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course in March, bringing the month-over-month increase streak to five in a row.
In total, $99.9 million in credits were played at the Austintown racino with winnings totaling $88.6 million. The net win was $10.1 million with the racino commission’s take totaling $6.7 million.
The amount of credits played and won both rose from a month earlier. In February, $94.8 million was played with $83.9 million won. Since November, each month has seen an increase in the amount played and won. Over that time, eight new terminals have been added to the racino.
Statewide revenue from VLTs also rose in March as $946.6 million was played with $843.9 awarded in winnings. It was the third consecutive month of month-over-month increases.
The Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield had the most credits played in March as bettors spent $241.9 million. The casino paid out $216.4 million.
