Biviano Carpet One Gets New Owners

GIRARD, Ohio – Biviano Carpet One Floor & Home is under new ownership as owners David and Lynne Biviano recently sold the business to longtime associate Jim Popovich and his wife, Jessie.

The Bivianos, second-generation owners of the family business at 1828 N. State St., are retiring in order to spend more time with family, David Biviano said in a news release announcing the sale.

The Popoviches “are the perfect people to carry on our legacy of integrity and excellent customer service for years to come,” he said. The store’s new owners “are the perfect people to carry on our legacy of integrity and excellent customer service for years to come,” he assured customers.

“We believe Jim, having been a member of our team for quite some time, is committed to upholding the same high standards that you have come to expect from us,” he said.

The Popoviches’ vision, said Jessie Popovich, is to “have the heart and vision to maintain the quality of product, installation and service that our community has received through the Bivianos.”

The Popoviches’ eldest son, Luke, is among the new sales staff, and two other children, Logan and Grace, along with the family’s dog, Charley, are frequent visitors to the store.

“Our customers look for Charley every time they come in,” Jessie Popovich said. “They look forward to seeing him.”
