Blush Boutique Raises $4,500 for Rescue Mission

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley received a $4,500 check from Blush Boutique located in the Adamas Building at 8391 Market St.

Blush Boutique owner Susie Schultz hosted a Ladies Night Vendor Show on Nov. 15 to raise the funds for the Rescue Mission’s capital campaign efforts to “Move Our Mission.” More than 20 vendors and 200 women participated in the event.

“Gifts like this are just more proof that the community is behind the Move Our Mission campaign,” said John Muckridge, president of the Rescue Mission in a news release. “Every gift brings us one step closer to making our new facility a reality. We need a new building desperately, mostly due to plumbing issues, to care for the 115 people we average nightly.”
