Boardman Center Plaza Sold for $4.5M

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Boardman Center Plaza on Market Street has sold for $4.5 million. 

The plaza is home to Legends Food and Drink and the Guitar Center, along with Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. The former location of Joann Fabrics, the plaza was sold by Jober Holdings Inc. to Boardman Center LLC in a transaction recorded Thursday.

The transaction includes 9.76 acres at the addresses of 7334-7396 Market St., along with property housing the two businesses at 7322 and 7332 Market St.

Jober Holdings Inc. is registered as a foreign corporation, with Jeffrey Andrew Kurz of Youngstown listed as the statutory agent. When Jober Holdings first registered in 2012, it was located in Montreal, Quebec.

The plaza property was originally owned in 1977 by Jober & Norman Holding Corp., until it was transferred to Jober Holdings Inc. in 2006, according to Mahoning County Auditor’s Office records.

The new owner, Boardman Center LLC, lists an address in The Colony, Texas, a development area just northwest of Dallas.
