Boardman Dealerships Sold for $8.4M
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Pennsylvania-based #1 Cochran purchased two Boardman dealerships for $8.4 million, according to Mahoning County Auditor’s records.
Donnell Ford, 7955 Market St., was sold to a company registered in Ohio under the name 7955 Market LLC for $5.16 million. Similarly, Flynn Investments Ltd. sold The Honda Store, 448 Boardman-Canfield Road, to a company registered in Ohio as 448 Boardman LLC for $3.27 million.
#1 Cochran announced Wednesday that it had purchased Flynn Automotive Group, and the two Boardman dealerships were included in the acquisition. As of Friday, both dealerships had already updated their websites to announce the change of ownership, citing the new names for the businesses as #1 Cochran Honda Boardman and #1 Cochran Ford Boardman.
The acquisition also included Power Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in East Liverpool; Columbiana Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac in Columbiana; and a Columbiana collision center.
Details regarding the amounts of the Columbiana County sales were unavailable as of Friday evening.
#1 Cochran first entered the Youngstown market in January with the acquisition of Sweeney Chevrolet and Sweeney Buick GMC, followed by the purchase of Boardman Nissan in June.
