Boardman Fund for Educational Excellence Welcomes Board Members

BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Boardman Schools Fund for Educational Excellence this week welcomed two new members to its board of directors: Heather Belgin and Anissa Kalbasky.

Belgin is a proud parent of two sons currently in the district, and is a member of the Boardman Track and Cross Country Boosters, serving as secretary for the past three years. She is the director of alumni engagement at Youngstown State University.

Kalbasky is a past PTA president with a son and a daughter in the district. She is a marketing specialist and graphic designer with JPAR Real Estate.

The Boardman Schools Fund for Educational Excellence is a nonprofit organization that awards teachers grant monies for classroom projects that go beyond the scope of those funded by the school district’s educational budget. With the support of the Boardman community and the Boardman Education Association, more than $100,000 since the fund was created in 2009.
