Born Learning Trail at Perkins Park

WARREN, Ohio — In a collaborative effort, the United Way of Trumbull County is partnering with 717 Credit Union and volunteers from Laborers’ Union 935 and Barton Malow to build a new Born Learning Trail at Perkins Park.

It’s the second trail of its kind in northeastern Ohio and is part of the United Way’s annual United Way at Work campaign. The trail features signs that promote physical activity as well as early literacy, says Ginny Pasha, United Way president and CEO.

“It just seemed like there was such an opportunity for us to enhance downtown Warren with a trail that promotes early literacy and promotes family and children,” Pasha said.
