Boy Scouts Promote Brkic to Field Director
John Brkic has been promoted to the position of field director within the Great Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Brkic will manage all field operations in Mahoning, Trumbull and Portage counties while also managing the retail operations at the Scout Shop in Canfield. He has worked for the Boy Scouts of America for six years and served as a district executive, senior district executive and district director for Ashtabula, Lake, Trumbull, Portage and Mahoning counties. He holds a B.A. and M.S. in education from Youngstown State University.
