Branch Street Coffee Gets ‘Perfect’ Rating from Coffee Review
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Coffee Review has awarded Branch Street Coffee Roasters’ newest offering, Kenya Konyu, a 95 rating, putting it in the website’s highest-rated category.
According to the site, scores 95 and above are considered “perfect in structure, flawless and shockingly distinctive and beautiful.” The evaluation is done through a blind tasting procedure and follows Specialty Coffee Association of America cupping protocols.
To celebrate the award, Branch Street will be offering free samples of its Kenya Konyu to customers Nov. 4 during regular businesses, as well as having full cups available for purchase.
Since December 2016, Coffee Review has rated six Branch Street coffees. All have been scored 91 or higher, most recently its Honduras Finca Jersulaen in September 2017.
