Brite Adds Staff; Expands Entrepreneur Programs
WARREN, Ohio — Brite Energy Innovators announced Friday the expansion of its staff, “from project management to entrepreneur services and more,” the incubator said.
Britt Corsi has been named project manager and spearheads the next phase of growth for entrepreneur and member engagement programs. She brings 10 years of startup experience developing products and operations across software, engineering consultancy, blockchain and marketing.
Corsi is an entrepreneur herself, having launched EarthXYZ and EarthABC Inc. Both startups worked to unlock climate action at local levels by connecting municipalities and commercial real estate properties with financing opportunities and procurement needs. The Cleveland native conceived her first startup solution during FedTech’s NASA Startup Studio.
Nick Frank has been named entrepreneur services program manager. He will leverage his experience to identify gaps and improve service offerings so Brite receives national recognition as a leader energy tech incubator.
Frank holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Ohio University and a M.S. in energy science from Ulm University. Additionally, he has experience as an entrepreneur himself. He was part of several start-up companies, among them Li-ion Tamer, where he helped to develop and commercialize lithium-ion battery safety technology in the utility energy storage and electric vehicle space.
Lucas King has been named startup experience specialist and is responsible for ensuring early-stage energy technology companies are prepared to move forward with creating long-term sustainable businesses. King is a recent graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he studied business administration.
In addition, Brite has added Beth Barbush to its team as an office specialist. She aids operations, sales, community events, and tours of Brite’s headquarters as well as serving as an administrative resource to the team. Beth has extensive experience in diverse areas such as sales, event management, catering, customer service and more. As a Mahoning Valley native, she spent over a decade managing cellular and internet-based sales teams at a time of rapid growth.
